Irish Cement, Platin Works has updated its information brochure “Investing in our Future” which details the most up to date plans for investment in Platin.  The next phase of investment will see further energy efficiency improvements with on site electricity generation and reduced dependence on fossil fuels through advances in the range and quantity of alternative fuels.

Irish Cement have produced a list of frequently asked questions on using waste as a replacement for fossil fuels in cement plants.
