Limerick Art Exhibition

Irish Cement Limerick Works collaborated with Ms. Elizabeth Hatz from Sweden, the curator of  ‘Open / Invited ev+ a 2010 Matters’ visual art exhibition, to invite Mr. Staffan Nihlen to visit its Limestone quarry. Following some visits, Mr. Nihlen chose several pieces of limestone for sculpting. From these, three pieces of work were created and displayed alongside over 80 pieces from international artists at the exhibition, which was held in Limerick from March to May 2010
